Senior IT Technician

This full-time position is designed for a dynamic individual who possesses advanced technical expertise in IT systems and networking, along with proven leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will act as a technical leader, providing senior-level support and solving complex problems across a diverse range of technologies. This role is critical in managing multiple complex IT environments, leading technical teams, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Skills Required:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Expert in advanced systems management, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Windows desktop and server environments.
    • Mastery in designing and administering sophisticated firewall and VPN solutions.
    • Proficient in expert networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and QoS.
    • Advanced knowledge of Professional Services Automation (PSA) and Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools.
    • Strong background in cybersecurity frameworks, especially in healthcare IT and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
    • Comprehensive administration of Office 365 and Azure cloud services.
    • Proficient in disaster recovery strategy development and implementation.
    • Adept knowledge and administrative skills in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Leadership and Project Management:
    • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and elevate junior technical staff.
    • Strong project management skills, with experience in planning and overseeing IT projects.
    • Vendor and Client Relations:
    • Ability to manage vendor partnerships and maintain service level agreements.
    • Exceptional concierge-level client service skills.
  • Qualifications:
    • Experience working in an MSP environment is a plus.
    • Strongly desired experience in healthcare IT.
    • A minimum of 3 years of in-depth experience in a senior technical support role.
    • Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Azure, Cisco) are a plus.
